We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled End User Compute (EUC) Engineer to manage and optimise our macOS and Windows device environments. The role focuses on the full lifecycle management of endpoints, ensuring security, stability, and performance through effective provisioning, patching, and configuration management.

You will leverage tools such as JAMF and Microsoft Intune to deploy and maintain devices, validate driver compatibility, and perform rigorous testing to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Provision, configure, and deploy macOS and Windows laptops using JAMF and Intune.

  • Manage device compliance, patching cycles, and software updates across the organisation.

  • Ensure drivers and firmware are current and compatible with supported OS versions.

  • Conduct thorough testing of updates, configurations, and new deployments to minimise disruption.

  • Monitor and report on device health, performance, and compliance metrics.

  • Collaborate with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to resolve escalated incidents.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Provide technical support for end users, including hardware, application, and connectivity issues.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EUC service delivery.

  • Package and automate software installations via the company portal to streamline deployment and ensure consistency.

  • Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience managing macOS devices with JAMF Pro.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Windows device management.

  • Familiarity with driver lifecycle management and hardware compatibility validation.

  • Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent for automation and reporting.

  • Understanding of endpoint security, compliance, and patching best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.

     

    Knowledge & Experience

  • JAMF Certified Admin or equivalent certification.

  • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager certification preferred.

  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management knowledge
