QA Lead
Scope and Impact
Typically works within a single QA team as part of a DevOps team.
· Handles projects or changes requiring a general understanding of integrated systems or at least one development environment.
· Accountable for the quality of own work, delivered on time and within set procedures, with strong focus on internal and or external customer needs.
· Works independently within defined parameters, taking ownership of issues within area of expertise.
· Makes decisions within established guidelines.
· Recommends process improvements to the immediate manager.
· Some roles involve limited coordination of others work.
· Works under general supervision, following procedures to validate that systems,
products, and services meet company standards and user requirements
Develops test scripts and cases, validates modules of larger software products or standalone tools, documents and resolves issues, and updates management on progress.
Implements predefined improvements to existing procedures and reports on outcomes. Performs workflow analysis and suggests quality enhancements.
Role Requirements
· Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical
· Engineering, or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in testing or software development
· Proven expertise in testing methodologies and tools.
· Strong command of English.
· Proficient in Windows Server and or Unix , Linux.
· Familiar with Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
· Experience with formal SDLC processes; familiar with models like CMM CMMI.
· Strong customer service awareness and effective team player.
Additional Skills (Corporate)
· Strong analytical skills.
· Test automation and programming experience: proficient in one or two languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, Robot, C, C#, Java, or VB.
· At least 5 years in automation, with 2 to 5 years in programming.
· Some exposure to networking (TCP/IP), financial markets, or project management is a plus.
