PHP Lead
Job description for PHP Developer:
- Develop and maintain core backend services for the Time Tracking Application using PHP (Laravel/Symfony).
- Design and implement APIs that integrate with payroll, HR, and project management systems.
- Optimize database queries and schema (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX designers to ensure the application is intuitive and accessible for all users.
- Implement secure authentication and role-based access controls to protect sensitive employee data.
- Work closely with QA engineers to ensure robust test coverage and high-quality releases.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions to shape the future of the platform.
Required Skills:
- For T3: 3–5 years of professional experience in PHP development, ideally with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
- For T2: 5-8 years of professional experience in PHP development, ideally with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration best practices.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with JavaScript (Vue.js/React) for front-end integration is a plus.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and data privacy compliance (GDPR, SOC 2).
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
