PHP Lead

Job description for PHP Developer:

• Develop and maintain core backend services for the Time Tracking Application using PHP (Laravel/Symfony).
• Design and implement APIs that integrate with payroll, HR, and project management systems.
• Optimize database queries and schema (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure the application is intuitive and accessible for all users.
• Implement secure authentication and role-based access controls to protect sensitive employee data.
• Work closely with QA engineers to ensure robust test coverage and high-quality releases.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions to shape the future of the platform.

Required Skills:

• For T3: 3–5 years of professional experience in PHP development, ideally with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• For T2: 5-8 years of professional experience in PHP development, ideally with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration best practices.
• Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with JavaScript (Vue.js/React) for front-end integration is a plus.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and data privacy compliance (GDPR, SOC 2).
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills and a passion for building products that make a real difference.
