The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application maintenance and development operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions in a consultancy role. This position requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices and tools to enhance our operational efficiency and support our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement DevOps solutions.
- Analyze and improve existing application maintenance processes and workflows.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members and clients.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to DevOps.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in application development and maintenance.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud technologies are a plus.
