Key ResponsibilitiesTest Strategy and PlanningDefine and implement overall test strategy, test plans, and quality assurance frameworks for insurance-related applications and systemsCollaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and risk areasIdentify test objectives and determine appropriate test approaches manual vs automatedTest Management and ExecutionManage the end-to-end testing lifecycle including system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT supportLead test estimation, resource planning, and effort allocation across multiple projectsEnsure alignment with Agile, DevOps, or hybrid delivery modelsTest AutomationDrive the adoption of test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systemsDefine automation strategy and select suitable tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, Cucumber, TestNG, JenkinsEnsure automation is embedded into CI/CD pipelinesMonitor automation coverage, execution, and maintenance of test scriptsQuality Governance and ReportingEstablish and track QA metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, execution ratesConduct defect triage meetings and root cause analysis to improve quality processesPrepare and present testing dashboards and reports to senior stakeholdersTeam LeadershipLead and mentor a team of test leads, automation engineers, and manual testersProvide training, guidance, and performance feedbackFoster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaborationRequired Skills and ExperienceBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field10 plus years of total QA experience with 4 plus years in a Test Manager or Test Lead roleStrong hands-on automation experience using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or equivalentSolid understanding of API testing using Postman, RestAssured and test data managementProven experience in CI/CD environments such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOpsDomain expertise in insurance including life, health, or property and casualty systems such as policy administration, claims, underwriting, billingExcellent knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile or Scrum, and DevOps methodologiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
