Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Developer with extensive experience in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mainframe development, with a focus on various mainframe components and a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC). This role requires a proactive individual who is willing to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications in the banking sector.
• Utilize mainframe components such as SCA, MCA, JCL, and NDM to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Implement and manage SDLC processes to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow for project management and documentation.
• Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to resolve technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7+ years of mainframe development experience in the banking domain.
• Proficient in operating systems: Windows, UNIX, and LINUX.
• Experience with RDBMS and Oracle 19C.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe components: SCA, MCA, JCL, and NDM.
• Very strong understanding of SDLC.
• Well-versed with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in mainframe technologies are a plus.
