Salesforce BA
The Business Analysis Specialist leads discovery and scoping to understand business objectives, define problems, assess feasibility and identify stakeholders. Translates insights into structured requirements, designs end to end processes, and acts as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions are customer-centric, fit for purpose and cost-effective. The role assures compliance, contributes to continuous improvement, and can mentor other analysts to uplift capability and embed best practice.
What you’ll be doing
1.Leads discovery, scoping and options analysis to clearly define business problems, customer needs and value opportunities for change.
2.Translates insights into clear, structured requirements (business, functional, non-functional, data), epics, features and user stories that enable effective delivery across squads.
3.Designs end to end business processes, journeys and capabilities that align with customer objectives, BT standards and operational feasibility, including unhappy path and edge case analysis.
4.Works across business, product, engineering and service design teams to assess solution feasibility, align priorities, and support evidence-based decision making.
5.Produces high quality analysis artefacts including process maps, capability maturity assessments, data requirements and options papers, maintaining traceability to outcomes.
6.Supports the definition of MVPs, MMPs, phasing and road mapping to enable incremental delivery and maximise customer and business value.
7.Ensures requirements and designs meet standards and contributes to quality assurance of BA outputs within the function.
8.Acts as an expert practitioner and mentor for other Business Analysts, sharing practices, coaching on tools and methods, and supporting capability uplift across the function.
9.Collaborates with key stakeholders, and uses appropriate escalation paths, to manage alignment, mediate conflicting needs, and ensure shared understanding of scope, requirements and trade-offs.
10.Contributes to the continuous improvement of ways of working, reusable patterns, tools and frameworks to drive consistency and efficiency.
