We are seeking an experienced Database Architect with strong expertise in Neo4j graph databases to design, implement, and optimize scalable data architectures for BT OSS systems. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of graph data modeling, database performance tuning, and integration with enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable graph database architectures using Neo4j.
Create and optimize graph data models for OSS/BSS and telecom-related use cases.
Lead database design discussions and define best practices for graph database implementation.
Develop Cypher queries, procedures, and performance optimization strategies.
Integrate Neo4j with enterprise applications, APIs, and data pipelines.
Ensure database reliability, scalability, security, and high availability.
Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with application architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
Support data migration and transformation from relational databases to Neo4j.
Define governance standards, backup strategies, and disaster recovery processes.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Neo4j Graph Database.
Expertise in graph data modeling and Cypher query language.
Experience with APOC procedures and Neo4j administration.
Knowledge of data architecture principles and database design patterns.
Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and telecom domain is preferred.
Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
Experience with ETL/data integration tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Neo4j certification is an added advantage.
Experience in enterprise-scale data platforms and distributed systems.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
