HighByte and HiveMQ Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer with strong expertise in industrial data integration and MQTT based messaging systems. The role involves designing developing and maintaining real time data pipelines between industrial systems and enterprise platforms using modern IIoT technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with manufacturing IT and data teams to enable scalable secure and reliable data flow across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement industrial data integration solutions using HighByte Intelligence Hub.
Develop and manage MQTT based messaging infrastructure using HiveMQ.
Configure and maintain data pipelines from OT systems PLCs SCADA historians to enterprise and cloud platforms.
Develop data models transformations and contextualization within HighByte.
Implement MQTT topic structures QoS strategies and secure broker configurations in HiveMQ.
Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues across industrial data infrastructure.
Integrate IIoT platforms with enterprise systems such as MES ERP and analytics platforms.
Ensure security scalability and reliability of the data integration architecture.
Collaborate with cross functional teams including manufacturing engineering IT and data analytics teams.
Document integration architectures configurations and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
7 to 8 years of experience in industrial data integration IIoT or middleware development.
Hands on experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub configuration and data modeling.
Strong experience with HiveMQ or enterprise MQTT brokers.
Knowledge of MQTT protocol topic design QoS retained messages and broker clustering.
Experience integrating OT systems such as PLCs SCADA OPC UA servers or historians.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols OPC UA Modbus MQTT REST APIs.
Experience with data transformation normalization and contextualization.
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
Understanding of IIoT architecture edge computing and industrial cybersecurity practices.
