Talend Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

Skill: Talend  , Cloud , ETL

Role: Architect - Customer Facing

Key responsibility:

• The developer would work with the engineering team to understand the integration platform and construct of the pre-built dataflow connectors so that the role can be instrumental in developing, maintaining and enhancing new or existing connectors with minimal impact.
• This role should have a good exposure to Talend and Hadoop/Bigdata ecosystem with an explore and challenge mindset.
• This role would be instrumental in providing key inputs during the development stage to factor in necessary design considerations from an end to end solution perspective.

Experience Data Management and Design Solutions using Talend Products
Strong background with working knowledge of ETL/ELT, MDM, DWH and BI Methodologies
Conduct design sessions to review ETL strategy
Prepares detailed functional specifications, design models, and system work flows from which Information management systems will be developed and implemented
Build, unit test, deploy and maintain ETL packages, source code, stored procedures and other scripts used to test and load data
Strong experience in performance tuning of ETL processes using Talend
Extensive experience in ETL methodology for performing Data Profiling, Data Migration, Extraction Transformation and Loading using Talend
Strong programming skills in SQL, Java, Spark, python, Scala
Knowledge in RDBMS, HBase, Hive, Sqoop, NoSQL Technologies
Knowledge in any one of the cloud technologies (Hadoop, Azure, AWS, GCP) is a must
Design and architecture experience supporting Big Data Pipelines
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD implementations of the following technologies: Docker or Jenkins or TestDriven Development patterns
Experience in implementing and Managing Engagements
Knowledge in install, configuration of Talend Products and troubleshooting steps
Talend In Cloud Experience is a Plus
Experience in Talend Version Upgrades is a Plus
Participate in obtaining business and technical requirements, GAP analysis, technical design, development and documentation of information systems using data transformation techniques /ETL to move the data between systems
Work with business owners to analyze business requirements, use cases, and specifications in order to define the optimal ETL strategy and architect appropriate solutions
Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
