Job Description: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in release management, DevOps, build/release engineering, or software delivery coordination roles. Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Experience with automated testing pipelines, build orchestration, and deployment tools In-depth understanding of release governance processes, including: Build validation Smoke and regression test gating Change management approvals Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel releases, handle ambiguity, and drive structured delivery. Strong understanding of test automation pipelines and how test results impact release gating Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a mindset for continuous improvement. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Spinnaker, ServiceNow, or similar. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage all phases of the release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, build management, deployments, and post-release validation. Own the release calendar and align release schedules across multiple teams and systems Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness including QA sign-off, stakeholder communication, and risk assessments. Monitor automated and manual test results, analyze failures, and work with teams to gate or approve releases based on quality benchmarks. Oversee deployment activities across environments (dev, QA, staging, production) and ensure rollback procedures are in place. Facilitate release go/no-go meetings, and post-mortems, and track actions to closure. Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, deployment guides, and change logs. Track release metrics such as defect leakage, rollback rate, and deployment frequency, and drive continuous improvement. Partner with access management teams to ensure proper access controls are in place for deployment and test environments. Manage tooling and automation for CI/CD pipelines and release orchestration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, etc.).
