Identify new platform capabilities in coordination with multiple teams across the organization, including security, infrastructure & other engineering teams.Actively participate in the architectural design, implementation, and management of new technologies to achieve these capabilities.Be directly involved in the evaluation, conceptualization, and testing of these technologies through the conduct of hands-on proof of concept exercises.Produce solutions which overcome the challenges of working in large scale environments with a need for high performance & security.Work with platform users to understand their issues & requirements, then translate them to platform wide improvements.Develop, maintain, and utilize technical documentation and architectural diagrams.Apply Citi policies and follow all governance requirements for onboarding third party vendors and SaaS applications. Executes the architectural vision for all IT systems through major, complex IT architecture projects; ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints.Develops technology road maps, while keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies, and recommends business directions based on these technologies.Provides technical leadership and is responsible for developing components of, or the overall systems design.Impacts the architecture function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Guides, influences, and persuades others with developed communication and diplomacy skills.Performs other job duties and functions as assigned
