Senior Power Platform Engineer
- Microsoft Power Platform Automation, Copilot & Administration
- About the Role
- We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer to design, build, and govern enterprise-grade automations and Copilot-powered experiences on the Microsoft Power Platform. Will partner with engineering, IT, security, and business stakeholders to deliver low-code and AI-driven solutions that reduce manual effort, accelerate workflows, and embed responsible AI practices across the SDLC.
- This role sits at the intersection of automation, AI, and platform governance. You will not only build high-impact Power Automate flows and Copilot Studio agents, but also help shape the platform's administrative posture—environments, DLP policies, observability, and cost—as we evolve our RPA portfolio toward agent-driven workflows.
- Key Responsibilities
- Automation Design & Development
- Architect, build, and maintain complex automations in Power Automate (cloud flows and desktop flows / RPA), integrating across Microsoft 365, Dataverse, Azure services, SharePoint, Teams, and third-party SaaS systems via custom and certified connectors.
- Translate business and engineering workflows into reliable, observable, and maintainable solutions, applying solution-aware ALM (managed solutions, environment variables, connection references).
- Lead the modernization of existing RPA assets (UiPath, Power Automate Desktop) toward cloud-first and agentic patterns, applying a maturity-based triage approach.
- Copilot & AI-Driven Workflows
- Design and ship Copilot Studio agents and Copilot extensions that automate engineering and business processes, with grounded knowledge sources, topic design, and tool/plugin orchestration.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure OpenAI, AI Builder, and Dataverse to deliver retrieval-augmented and agentic experiences with appropriate guardrails.
- Apply responsible AI practices: prompt design and evaluation, output validation, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and grounding/citation patterns to mitigate hallucination and data leakage.
- Partner with Security and Legal to define acceptable use, data classification handling, and approval workflows for AI features.
