Job Title: Software Testing Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with extensive experience in software testing methodologies and a strong proficiency in Cypress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create comprehensive test plans.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Mentor junior testing team members and share best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Cypress for end-to-end testing.
• Proficient in JavaScript and testing frameworks.
• Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience in mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of other testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
• Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus.
