Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Enterprise Architect to lead a multi-year technical transformation for a strategic client. You will be the primary architect responsible for pivoting the current application landscape toward an AI-first delivery model. This is a high-visibility role requiring a blend of deep technical mastery across diverse stacks and the executive presence to define a future-state roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI-First Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for integrating Generative AI and Machine Learning into the core application lifecycle and end-user products.

• Technical Transformation: Lead the modernization of legacy portfolios, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability across multiple tech stacks (ERP- SAP, AS400, Salesforce, Martech, Java/.NET, Cloud Native, Infra and Security, AI Ops).

• Solution Roadmap: Own the end-to-end architectural blueprints, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term technical debt reduction.

• Governance & Standards: Establish "AI-First" architectural standards, ensuring ethical AI use, data privacy, and robust MLOps practices.

• Stakeholder Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, translating complex technical shifts into tangible business value.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and enterprise-scale architecture.

• Proven Track Record: Experience leading large-scale technical transformations (e.g., Monolith to Microservices, On-prem to Cloud, or AI integration in PDLC).

• Multi-Stack Proficiency: Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns across different ecosystems (AWS, Distributed Systems, API-First design).

• AI/ML Fluency: Practical experience with LLM integration, vector databases, and the infrastructure required to support AI at scale.

• Location: Based in or willing to commute to New Jersey.

Preferred Attributes:

• Exceptional ability to mentor senior principal engineers and lead through influence.

• Strong background in Publishing and Learning domain is a plus
