Senior Consultant

The Trade Settlement Manual Tester is a critical technical role responsible for validating custody service functionalities within the TCS BaNCS GSP platform, specifically focusing on the complex GCC market settlement practices. With at least 5 years of experience in investment banking and security services, the successful candidate will serve as a strategic link between business requirements and technical execution. This professional is tasked with the end-to-end testing lifecycle—from analyzing BRDs and FSDs to designing and executing comprehensive test cases across modules such as trade workflows, cash and position management, billing, and EUR reporting. Beyond manual execution, the role requires a deep proficiency in validating SWIFT messaging, manual inputs, and file uploads, all while maintaining rigorous static data configurations for clients and securities.

Operating within an Agile and DevOps framework, the tester is expected to manage defects via JIRA and Zephyr, ensuring high-quality resolution and transparent reporting to stakeholders. The position demands a proactive problem-solver who can oversee operational aspects like reconciliations and funding while simultaneously driving process improvements and automation initiatives. As a collaborative leader, the individual will represent the technology team in leadership forums, manage service roadmaps, and ensure consistency across global requirements. Ultimately, this role requires a high-performing strategic thinker with a proven track record in SIT, UAT, and pre-production validation, dedicated to enhancing the reliability and efficiency of custody operations in a fast-paced environment.
