Job Description Senior Power BI Engineer for CMS

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Power BI including
Complex dashboard and report development
Data modeling star schema semantic models
Advanced DAX calculations
Performance optimization
Row level security RLS implementation
Deployment via Power BI Service

Data Modeling and Analytics
Strong understanding of dimensional modeling facts dimensions measures
Experience building enterprise semantic layers
Ability to translate business KPIs into scalable data models

SQL and Data Engineering Understanding
Advanced SQL for querying transformation and troubleshooting
Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake Azure Synapse SQL Server

CMS Domain Knowledge
Experience supporting Manufacturing and Supply Chain analytics such as
OEE Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Yield and production metrics
Inventory optimization
OTIF On Time In Full
Demand vs Supply planning
Procurement performance

Integration and Data Sources
Experience integrating data from ERP systems SAP preferred MES systems and supply chain platforms
Familiarity with APIs flat files and cloud storage sources

Governance and Security
Knowledge of data governance practices
Implementing RLS workspace management and deployment pipelines
Understanding of regulatory environments GxP GDPR preferred

Collaboration and Agile
Experience working in Agile teams Scrum Kanban
Ability to work with product owners analysts and business stakeholders

Communication
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to non technical users
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop enterprise grade Power BI dashboards for CMS stakeholders
Build scalable semantic data models aligned to manufacturing and supply chain KPIs
Develop advanced DAX measures and optimize report performance
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high quality data pipelines
Mentor junior BI developers and promote best practices
