Senior Business Consultant

Seeking a motivated and experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner with a strong background in the health care and health tech domains. This role involves writing user stories, collaborating with development teams and business stakeholders, and ensuring that product features meet business needs. The ideal candidate will be proficient in JIRA and Confluence, and will actively participate in Scrum ceremonies.

Key Responsibilities
User Story Development Write clear, concise user stories that capture business requirements and align with product vision.
Collaboration Work closely with development teams and business owners to groom and prioritize the product backlog.
Feature Understanding Gain a deep understanding of product features, user needs, and industry standards within health care and health tech.
Stakeholder Engagement Engage with stakeholders to elicit feedback and refine user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Scrum Participation Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Documentation Maintain comprehensive documentation in Confluence to ensure knowledge sharing and project transparency.
Requirements Analysis Analyze requirements and assess the impact on existing systems and processes, providing recommendations for improvement.
Quality Assurance Collaborate with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and validate that deliverables meet user requirements.

Qualifications
Education Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Health Care Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience three years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role, specifically within the health care or health tech industries.
Tools Proficiency Strong experience with JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
Methodologies Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
Analytical Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Interpersonal Skills Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Certifications Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus.
Domain Knowledge Understanding of regulatory requirements in the health care sector (e.g., HIPAA, FDA regulations).
