Senior Azure Linux Administrator
Required Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in Linux System administration & Azure platform.
Ability to manage Linux environment, Strong experience on RHEL, Suse, Ubuntu based distributions, file system management, package management, patch management, LVM management, NFS, troubleshooting.
Experience in provisioning, operating and maintaining systems running on Azure
Capabilities to provide Azure operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project
Ability to understand and implement high available solutions on Azure across availability zones and regions
Experience in Azure Security Groups, VPC, Routing Tables, Subnets
Understanding of patch management, Server hardening, TLS/SSL vulnerabilities management.
Very good understanding of Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services
Knowledge & experience in monitoring, logging and cost management tools
Backup and Restore management using Backup solution. Commvault knowledge would be good to have
Infrastructure and Application monitoring across production and non-production platforms
Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
Good experience on Bash or Power Shell scripting. Ability to automate any operation task
Understanding of networking, DNS concepts, System troubleshooting, Active directory and OpenLDAP administration
Experience in using ticketing tools like ServiceNow
Very good interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ready to be available for On-call support on off work hours and weekends as the need be
Education and Expected Years of Experience:
Education: Graduation in Computer Science or Equivalent.
Years of Experience: 8+ years

Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Must be highly-motivated and have a positive attitude
Excellent listening and customer service skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be a team player
Must be mature and tactful
Understanding of SLA terms
