Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and upgrade SAS software components across various environments (development, test, production).Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of SAS applications.Manage SAS metadata server, application server, and related services.Perform regular system maintenance, patch management, and updates.Implement security best practices, including user access management, role-based permissions, and audit compliance.Troubleshoot and resolve SAS-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and errors.Automate routine tasks using SAS scripts and other scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and IT teams to support SAS-based projects.Maintain documentation for SAS environment configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Support SAS upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.Preferred Skills:SAS Certified Administrator (or relevant SAS certification).Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.Experience with performance tuning and capacity planningStrong knowledge of SAS 9.x, SAS Viya, and related technologies.Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
