Job Title: Automation QA Engineer (SailPoint)
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Strategy & Development
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for SailPoint IdentityNow implementations and integrations.
Identify opportunities for automation to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and release cycles.
Implement and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation test suites.
Test Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with developers and rest of the team to define automation scope, strategy, and plans.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results, identifying failures and root causes.
Defect Management:
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects found through automated testing using defect management tools.
Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Verify bug fixes and ensure that defects are resolved effectively without introducing new issues.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with SailPoint SME, Business Analyst, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure automation efforts align with project goals.
Participate in stand-ups and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide clear and concise communication regarding automation progress, test coverage, and quality metrics.
Domain Expertise:
Leverage strong understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) principles and concepts.
Apply specific knowledge of SailPoint IdentityNow functionalities, including provisioning, certifications, roles, policies, and connectors, to design effective automated tests.
Support the automated testing of integrations between SailPoint IdentityNow and various enterprise applications.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for automated test cases, frameworks, and test execution results.
Generate comprehensive reports on automation coverage, test execution status, and defect trends.
