This is a strategic and hands-on role involving architecture, tool assessments, fit-gap analysis, value realization, and integration of next-gen AI and agentic automation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Architect enterprise-scale automation solutions across a diverse stack (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Pega, Appian, Blue Prism, etc.).
Lead assessments of existing automation landscape, including maturity, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
Evaluate and recommend suitable platforms for automation, AI augmentation, and orchestration based on functional needs, enterprise architecture fit, and ROI modeling.
Design and oversee implementation of intelligent automation solutions integrating RPA, BPM, Document Understanding, NLP, ML, and conversational AI.
Develop automation roadmaps and transformation blueprints aligned to business objectives in the healthcare provider ecosystem.
Engage with business and IT stakeholders to define business cases, value frameworks, and prioritization for automation initiatives.
Apply architectural principles and governance across the automation and AI lifecycle to ensure scalability, security, and sustainability.
Contribute thought leadership on agentic automation, including how AI agents, human-in-loop models, and orchestration can transform healthcare operations.
Collaborate closely with product owners, engineering teams, and business SMEs in agile delivery models.
Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, automation architecture, and consulting roles.
Proven implementation experience across multiple automation platforms, including RPA (UiPath, AA, Blue Prism), BPM, workflow, and AI integration tools.
Strong background in fit-gap analysis, solutioning, and platform/tool selection based on technical and business alignment.
Demonstrated experience in ROI modeling, TCO evaluation, and developing business cases for automation initiatives.
Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns and architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
Experience integrating AI into automation pipelines - e.g., using ML, NLP, LLMs, document understanding, conversational AI.
Hands-on experience or exposure in healthcare provider workflows (revenue cycle, claims, prior auth, clinical ops, patient engagement) is a strong plus.
Architecture certifications in one or more automation platforms (e.g., UiPath Certified Architect, Automation Anywhere Master Architect, Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect).
Experience designing or contributing to agentic automation strategy or solutions.
Strong communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to lead C-level and functional stakeholder conversations.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
Knowledge of AI governance, LLM prompt engineering, and human-AI orchestration models.
Prior experience working with large healthcare transformation programs or consulting firms.
Exposure to emerging paradigms like Process Intelligence, Autonomous Agents, or AI Ops.
