"Role Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber, hands-on Associate Architect to spearhead the technical direction and delivery of our enterprise applications. This is a ""player-coach"" role intended for a seasoned engineer who balances high-level architectural ownership with deep-dive coding. You will be responsible for the integrity of the codebase, the scalability of the infrastructure, and the technical maturity of the offshore engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Ownership Define and document technical designs, ensuring they align with SOLID principles and modular scalability.
Hands-on Execution Maintain active involvement in the codebase (approx. 50-60%) through feature development, complex debugging, and performance refactoring.
Technical Governance Establish and enforce rigorous coding standards, CI/CD best practices, and security protocols.
Mentorship & Quality Lead code reviews and uplift team capabilities by identifying technical gaps and driving engineering excellence.
Stakeholder Collaboration Act as the technical bridge between Product Owners, QA, and leadership to translate business requirements into robust, high-performing solutions.
Technical RequirementsCore Backend & Logic
Python Mastery Expert-level Python with extensive experience in Django and Django Ninja.
API Design Advanced RESTful API design and optimization of ORM queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Full-Stack Fluency Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern frontend frameworks, specifically React.js.
Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS)
Containerization & Compute Deep experience with AWS ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
Data & Storage Proficiency in managing RDS, S3, and fine-tuning IAM policies.
DevOps Proven experience with automated CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and test-driven development (TDD)."
