Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Leadership
Define and own the overall QA strategy across programs, releases, and environments.
Establish quality standards, test governance, and best practices aligned with enterprise delivery.
Lead QA planning during Definition & Design phases, ensuring testability and risk coverage early.
Act as the primary point of contact for quality status, risks, and release readiness.
Define and implement test automation strategy across UI, API, and backend layers.
Guide teams in building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality.
Track and improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and defect leakage metrics.
AI, Analytics & Data Quality Testing
Lead QA activities for AI‑driven features, including validation of:
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and coach QA engineers and automation testers.
Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, architects, AI/ML teams, UX designers, and DevOps.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
Drive continuous improvement in QA tools, processes, and ways of working.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8–12+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering, with 3+ years in a QA Lead/Test Lead role.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
Hands‑on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).
Experience testing APIs, microservices, data‑driven systems, and distributed architectures.
Expertise in defect management and test reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, Xray).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex testing scope and dependencies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred QualificationsExperience testing AI‑powered or analytics‑heavy platforms.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and containerized applications.
Knowledge of security testing concepts and compliance‑driven quality validation.
Experience working in multi‑tenant, RBAC‑driven enterprise systems.
ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
