QA Automation

Our TA and STA are experts in test automation. The role focuses on services functional and data test automation. The key outcomes include creating services and functional automation suites while following DevOps principles of speed and quality. The role is key to implementing modern engineering principles such as the test pyramid during the delivery lifecycle.Creation and maintenance of automation scripts using automation tools and frameworks with strong exposure to API web and database testing. Responsible for functional testing review of development unit tests regression testing system integration testing user acceptance testing and database testing for the Workplace Investing team. Accountable for testing applications covering usability accessibility regression and automation aspects. Handling day to day activities including executing test scripts and preparing test data. Ensuring full test coverage and high quality of test scripts and scenarios. Executing tests in an efficient and organized manner. Maintaining working knowledge of key business systems. Conducting detailed defect analysis after each testing phase to identify root causes. Thinking from a customer viewpoint and understanding business complexity. Experience working under tight deadlines in complex testing environments. Demonstrating sound judgement in assessing severity of issues. Providing inputs to test leads for project closure activities. Designing preparing and executing medium to complex end to end test cases. Running testing workshops with stakeholders to identify test requirements. Liaising with developers business analysts and business users to derive test case information and ensure appropriate coverage. Working closely with the business to ensure successful testing outcomes. Ensuring compliance with agreed standards and processes. Contributing to continuous improvement of testing standards processes procedures and methodologies. Managing testing for large scale deliveries and reporting readiness progress and quality metrics to Workplace Investing management.Strong understanding of automation test principles with proven experience using multiple automation tools preferably API Selenium and Test Complete. Good SQL skills. Exposure to AWS cloud testing. Hands on experience with version control tools such as SVN Git and ClearCase.
