Summary of Position

 

To serve as the linchpin within Virtusa for key accounts/sectors, specifically under the DTAG umbrella, aligning technology solutions with business objectives. The AEA ensures that Virtusa clients receive innovative and strategic solutions tailored to their needs. This role is paramount in bridging the gap between sales/commercial teams, clients, and Virtusa's comprehensive technology capabilities, with a focus on solution design, innovative technology approaches, and client understanding.

 

What you’ll Do

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate closely with sales and commercial teams to understand client needs.

Engage directly with clients to provide technical credibility, understanding their requirements, constraints, and aspirations.

Maintain close relationships with technology capability, service lines, and offers teams.


 

Solution Design & Recommendation:

Design and recommend appropriate technology solutions in alignment with client needs and business objectives.

Ensure solutions are technically viable, innovative, and in line with our offerings.


 

Sales Support & Credibility:

Support sales teams by providing technical expertise during client meetings and proposals.

Be responsible for proactive proposal generation with an aim to drive increased order bookings.


 

Territory & Domain Knowledge:

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the domain/territory they operate in.

Possess deep domain specific (BFSI, Telco, Life Sciences one each) and a deep understanding of multiple technologies.

 

Continuous Learning & Development:

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Collaborate with peers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Certification in recognized Enterprise/Solution Architecture methodologies or frameworks.

- Proven experience as a senior solution architect in a software engineering/IT service environment.

- Track record of driving sales through technology consulting, advisory, and solutioning.
