Power BI Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data visualization, data modeling, and cloud platforms, with a proven ability to communicate complex data effectively through user-friendly visualizations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Create user-friendly visualizations to communicate complex data insights.
• Develop data models and maintain relationships between various data sets.
• Utilize DAX to create calculated columns, measures, and aggregations.
• Perform data analysis to uncover trends and insights.
• Connect to various data sources, including SQL databases, APIs, and cloud services.
• Use Power Query to clean, transform, and prepare data for reporting.
• Implement Kyvos reporting and financial reporting with MDX coding experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service).
• Strong experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT principles, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL DB) or AWS.
• Familiarity with Python for data integration, SSIS, Databricks, and Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
