Power BI Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong UI/UX design principles and scripting/programming knowledge in cloud platforms, with a proven ability to create user-friendly visualizations that effectively communicate complex data.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Create user-friendly visualizations to communicate complex data insights.
• Develop data models and maintain relationships between data sets.
• Utilize DAX to create calculated columns, measures, and aggregations.
• Perform data analysis to uncover trends and insights.
• Connect to various data sources, including SQL databases, APIs, and cloud services.
• Use Power Query to clean, transform, and prepare data for reporting.
• Implement Kyvos reporting and financial reporting, preferably with MDX coding experience.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI (including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service).
• Strong experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Expertise in Power BI Desktop, Service, Gateway, and complex DAX measures/functions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL DB) or AWS.
• Familiarity with Python for data integration, SSIS, Databricks, and Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate).
