With a background in end-to-end application management experience, you are passionate about building critical payments applications as part of a pipeline that impacts millions of customers. As someone who is detail focused and loves solving challenges, you will deploy complex enterprise level Microservices and continually develop and improve the platform that hosts them.

Day to day you will collaborate across teams and functions, working with Program Managers, Software Engineers, DevOps Specialists and Engineering Teams who are collectively driven to provide industry-leading solutions for the bank and its customers. Communicating complex ideas and solutions with technical leaders and business stakeholders is second nature to you.

We’re Interested in Hearing From People Who Show

• Software Engineering or equivalent IT degree or combination of Diploma & Certifications related to Software Engineering & AWS.
• 2-4 years’ experience as Software Engineer/DevOps/SRE/System Engineer in AWS Cloud environment.
• Practical experience in AWS foundational services (IAM, VPC, EC2, ASG, SecurityGroup, S3).
• Practical experience operating Kubernetes/AWS EKS cluster.
• Practical experience building and maintaining docker images.
• Competency in at least 1 programming language (Java, Python or Typescript preferred).
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (Cloudformation, CDK, Terraform).
• Experience managing CI/CD pipeline to deploy AWS resources and container workloads.
• Understanding of DevOps/SRE Best Practices: Logging, Monitoring, Security.
• Be able communicate your idea clearly and effectively.

Desirable Skill Set

• Associate or above level AWS Certifications.
• Practical experience of AWS in Enterprise environments.
• Practical experience in Linux internals and be able to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Practical experience of maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Risk and compliance experience.
