Performance Tester

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to design execute and analyze performance tests for mission critical applications The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the scalability stability and responsiveness of systems under various load conditions This role involves close collaboration with development DevOps and infrastructure teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend performance optimizations Key Responsibilities Test Planning and Strategy Define performance testing objectives scope and approach for applications and systems Develop detailed performance test plans and workload models based on business and technical requirements Test Design and Development Design and develop performance test scripts and scenarios using tools such as JMeter LoadRunner Neoload or Gatling Create parameterized data driven and reusable test scripts Execution and Monitoring Execute load stress endurance and spike tests to assess system behavior under varying loads Monitor server and application metrics CPU memory database network response time throughput Collaborate with DevOps teams to run tests in CICD pipelines or cloud environments Analysis and Reporting Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks scalability issues and potential risks Provide detailed performance reports with root cause analysis and optimization recommendations Present findings to technical and non technical stakeholders Collaboration Work with developers architects and infrastructure teams to tune applications and optimize system performance Support continuous performance monitoring post deployment Continuous Improvement Evaluate and implement new tools and techniques for performance testing and monitoring Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and best practices Required Skills and Qualifications 3 6 years of experience in performance testing and engineering Hands on experience with one or more performance testing tools Apache JMeter LoadRunner Neoload Gatling or k6 Experience in scripting with Java Python Groovy or JavaScript for custom test logic Strong knowledge of performance metrics bottleneck analysis and profiling techniques Experience with application performance monitoring APM tools like Dynatrace AppDynamics Grafana or New Relic Familiarity with web technologies HTTP REST APIs JSON XML and databases SQL NoSQL Understanding of cloud environments AWS Azure GCP and CICD pipelines Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills Preferre.
