Senior OT Network Engineer
Role Summary
The Senior OT Network Engineer is part of the Network team and is responsible for
implementing, supporting, and maintaining network infrastructure for manufacturing and
Operational Technology (OT) environments.
This role focuses on advanced execution, operational support, and technical leadership,
ensuring secure, reliable connectivity for production systems. The position works closely
with cybersecurity and Active Directory teams to support a segmented, identity-driven
architecture (Tier 0 / Tier 1 / Tier 2) aligned with Zero Trust principles.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations & Support
Implement and support network infrastructure for OT and manufacturing
environments
Maintain high availability and reliability for production-critical systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues impacting plant operations
(connectivity, latency, performance)
Partner or coordinate production incident response and restoration activities
Act as an escalation point for network-related issues within OT environments
Required
7+ years of network engineering or infrastructure support experience
Strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, and advanced network
troubleshooting in enterprise environments
Proven experience implementing and supporting network segmentation and
firewall rule configurations across multiple environments or sites
Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in production or business-
critical environments
Experience supporting OT or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with segmented Active Directory environments and Tiered security
models
Understanding of authentication services (DNS, Kerberos, LDAP, certificates)
Preferred
Experience working with Aruba and Cisco network hardware
Exposure to NAC (e.g., ClearPass, ISE) or identity-based network controls
Key Skills
Advanced troubleshooting in high-availability, production-critical environments
Ability to lead technical resolution efforts without formal design ownership
Strong collaboration across Network, AD, Security, and Manufacturing teams
Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-site environments
Clear communication during incidents and cross-team coordination
