Key responsibility:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) Developer with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and enhance BRM solutions for high-performance and scalable billing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle BRM, Pricing, Pipeline Manager, Infranet, and integration with external systems. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, secure, and optimized billing solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
BRM Development & Customization: Design and implement billing solutions using Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management).
Pricing & Rating Configuration: Configure pricing models, discounting, and rating components in BRM.
Integration: Develop and integrate BRM with external systems such as CRM, payment gateways, and third-party applications using Web Services, REST APIs, and Middleware.
Pipeline & Infranet Development: Work on Pipeline Manager, Infranet API, and opcode customization for enhanced billing functionalities.
Performance Optimization: Optimize BRM applications for scalability, performance, and high availability.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide production support, debug complex billing issues, and implement fixes.
Database Management: Manage Oracle Database, perform PL/SQL scripting, and ensure efficient data handling.
Automation & DevOps: Implement automation for billing workflows and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation and adhere to industry best practices in billing and revenue management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in BRM development and customization.
Technical Expertise:
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle BRM (v7.x / v12.x).
Expertise in Pricing, Discounting, Subscription Management, and Revenue Assurance.
Strong programming skills in Java and Shell scripting.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and performance tuning.
Experience with opcodes, PCM APIs, and Pipeline Manager.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and middleware integration (SOA, Tibco, MuleSoft, etc.).
Good to have experience with Linux/Unix environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and DevOps tools.
