Network Reliability Engineer
Job Summary Network Reliability (with APOS) Must Have Key skills Design and implement reliable wireless architectures using APOS (Access Point on Stick) Configure VLAN tagging, trunking, and multi-SSID routing Perform RCA for network outages and improve uptime Monitor network via SNMP, syslog, dashboards (99.9%+ availability) Conduct wireless site surveys (Ekahau/AirMagnet), RF analysis, and optimization Ensure coverage planning, interference mitigation, and SLA validation Implement redundancy & failover mechanisms (controller/AP, DHCP resilience) Strong knowledge of 802.11 standards, WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, Cisco/Aruba WLAN solution Designed and implemented highly reliable wireless network architectures using APOS (Access Point on Stick) deployment models. Configured VLAN tagging, trunking, and routing on access points to support multi‑SSID environments efficiently. Performed root cause analysis (RCA) for network outages and implemented corrective actions to improve uptime. Monitored network health using tools (SNMP, syslog, dashboards) to ensure 99.9%+ availability. Optimized RF performance and channel utilization to reduce interference and improve reliability. Implemented redundancy and failover mechanisms (controller/AP failover, DHCP resilience). Wireless Survey & Optimization Conducted site surveys (pre‑deployment & post‑deployment) using tools like Ekahau / AirMagnet. Performed RF coverage analysis, heatmaps creation, and capacity planning for enterprise environments. Identified and mitigated RF interference, dead zones, and co-channel interference issues.
