Network Design & Configuration:Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network solutions.Configure, install, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.Support network capacity planning and design for scalability and performance optimization.Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting:Monitor network performance and availability using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.Identify and resolve network issues including latency, connectivity, and performance problems.Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.Security:Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and VPN configurations to safeguard against unauthorized access.Collaborate with the security team to address network vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents.Documentation & Reporting:Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, designs, and changes.Provide regular updates on network performance, incidents, and troubleshooting efforts.Collaboration & Support:Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with applications and databases.Provide second and third-tier support for network-related issues.Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and migrations.Project Management:Assist with network-related projects including upgrades, deployments, and migrations.Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet performance requirements.________________________________________Required Qualifications:Experience:3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or related field.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, OSPF, etc.).Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.).Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).Familiarity with network security practices (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems).Solid understanding of wireless networking, QoS, and network segmentation.Certifications (preferred but not required):CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant certifications.CompTIA Network+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are also a plus.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
