Detailed Job Description for MS Teams (Support Engineer / SME) at Chennai, TN:
· This role is for Unified Communications consultant with expertise on Unified Communication - Microsoft Teams (migration and implementation), server, voice and data systems implementation and associated project management methodology.
· Experience: 7 to 9 years of experience in IT Industry.
· 2nd line incident resolution of applications and data issues related to MS Teams and related services.
· Proactive management of the global infrastructure to maximize performance and reliability.
· Ensure system integrity, security and recoverability.
· Provide technical advice and education to the junior engineers.
· Drive opportunities for process and service improvement.
· Deliver solutions to recurring issues to drive process improvement.
· Good knowledge in ITIL process.
· Strong technical expertise in Collaboration services, especially in Unified communications - Microsoft teams (Deployment, migration & configuration, Support experience), Polycom & Yealink devices, EICC telephony solutions and over all telephony services t/b
· Excellent Scripting and PowerShell expertise
· Good networking knowledge (TCP/IP, OSI Layers), LAN, WAN migration and support
· Good understanding of Teams Direct Routing
· Good understanding of Hybrid environment (Lync online/SFB online
· Excellent understanding in Active Directory and MS Exchange
· Sonus, Cisco and other voice solution deployment, configuration and support
· Microsoft IIS, SCCM and SSL certificate support, deployment and configuration
· Knowledge in ITIL process.
· Any networking certifications like CCNA will be an added advantage.
· Flexible to handle priority issues and escalations.
