Role Overview
The Marketing and Corporate Communication Manager is responsible for strengthening the company’s brand presence, media visibility, and stakeholder communication across India and Sri Lanka. The role supports public relations, CSR and sustainability marketing, talent brand initiatives, and social media channel management. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is comfortable operating in multi-market environments with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Media Coordination and Public Relations
- Support the planning and execution of media engagement activities across India and Sri Lanka.
- Coordinate with PR agencies, journalists, and media outlets to secure coverage and maintain strong relationships.
- Prepare press releases, statements, media kits, and talking points for leadership.
- Monitor news, industry trends, and media mentions and support crisis-communication preparedness.
- Assist in organizing media events, interviews, and press briefings.
CSR and Sustainability Marketing
- Support the development and storytelling of CSR and sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare content and campaigns that highlight impact, community value, and environmental stewardship.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to document CSR activities through reports, videos, case studies, and social content.
- Ensure alignment with corporate values, regulatory frameworks, and global sustainability communication standards.
Talent Brand Management
- Assist in developing and amplifying the employer brand to attract high-quality talent.
- Support recruitment marketing content, employee stories, and culture-building initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and talent acquisition teams to run campaigns for hiring events, awards, and recognition programs.
- Maintain internal communication assets that reinforce the organization’s culture and employee value proposition.
Social Media and Content Marketing
- Oversee daily content planning, publishing, and engagement across key social channels.
- Develop high-quality posts, videos, and campaigns that position the company as a trusted, relevant, and innovative brand.
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across platforms.
- Track performance metrics and optimize content based on insights and audience behavior.
- Coordinate with design, PR, and business teams to align content with broader communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in marketing, corporate communication, or PR roles.
- Experience managing multi-country communication (India and Sri Lanka preferred).
- Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Familiarity with CSR communication, employer branding, and social media management.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
