Role Summary:The Mainframe Senior Lead is responsible for leading technical teams in the design, development, and support of mainframe applications. This role involves hands-on development, performance tuning, and strategic planning to ensure scalable and efficient solutions.Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of mainframe developers. Define and implement scalable application solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose technical solutions. Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.Technical Skills Required: Languages & Tools: COBOL, PL/I, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ-Series, SQL. Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of end-to-end mainframe development. Automation & Support: Experience in automating mainframe processes and providing production support.Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management.Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in mainframe technologies. Certifications in mainframe or leadership domains.
