Mainframe 1. Good hands-on of Project Development using Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2
2. JCL
3. ISPF command/Utilities
4. We need to check what version configuration tool they are using(Knowledge on ENDEVOR)
5. CICS(CICS with VSAM handling and CICS with DB2 handling)
6. DB2(Cobol with db2 programming knowledge)
7. File aid for db2 and file
8. IOF OR SDSF
9. Exposure on incident management/change request management tools.
10. Scheduling tool(knowledge CA7, control-M)
11. Exposure on any of the debugging tools for both batch and online environment(eg. Xpeditor, abend aid)
12. Assembler
13. Working knowledge on SCRUM model/JIRA handling
14. Experience in doing impact analysis, design document creation, change release, deployment, monitoring and estimation.
15. complete understanding of SDLC cycle
COBOL 1. Working knowledge on Micro Focus Unit Testing Framework
2. Awareness on Deploying COBOL Applications
Command Handson in ISPF command/Utilities and Scheduling tool ( CA7, control-M)
