12-15 Years of Exp in Mainframe with min 5 years as Solution Architect.Engage with business, application, and infrastructure stakeholders to understand system requirements, constraints, and long-term objectives.Analyze existing mainframe applications and platforms to understand current-state architecture, dependencies, and integration points.
Define end-to-end solution architectures for mainframe-based and hybrid (mainframe + distributed/cloud) environments.
Design target-state architectures that support scalability, performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, and solution blueprints.Provide architectural guidance to development and support teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
Participate in design reviews to validate architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Identify risks related to performance, availability, capacity, or integration, and propose mitigation strategies.
Support modernization initiatives such as application refactoring, re-platforming, or integration with newer technologies.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure solutions are production-ready.
