Looker engineer

GDT WPB Looker Engineer JD:
Responsibilities
Create and maintain LookML models, explore data schemas, and build dashboards and reports on Looker.
Design and optimize data models and explore data integration opportunities.
Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases, ensuring optimal performance.
Develop custom visualisation using looker's visualisation capabilities.
Implement and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide training and support to end uses on how to use looker and interpret data visualisation.
Stay updated with Lookers latest features, updates and best practices to continuously improve BI solutions.
Coordinate with data engineers and developers to resolve complex technical/data issues to support BI initiatives.
Participate in meetings to discuss systems enhancements, upgrades, or new requirements.
Identify opportunities for process automation, performance enhancements, or efficiency gains within Looker environments.
Propose and implement improvements to optimize system reliability and user satisfaction.
Mandatory Skill
Must have experience SQL writing skills.
Must have experience on LookML scripting.
Must have experience on Looker Dashboard development.
Basic understanding of GCP
Knowledge on JIRA and Confluence
Nice To Have Skills
BigQuery is plus.
Good to have ETL/python scripting knowledge.
