Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters across different environments (development, staging, production).
Monitor the health and performance of Kubernetes clusters and containers.
Manage Kubernetes resources (pods, services, deployments, replicasets, etc.).
Ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of Kubernetes environments.
implement automation for cluster provisioning, monitoring, and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters, networking, and applications.
Perform periodic upgrades and patching of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes clusters.
Implement security measures to ensure the security and compliance of Kubernetes clusters.
Document cluster setup, management procedures, and best practices for internal teams.
Manage Kubernetes-based logging and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Collaborate with development teams to optimize and troubleshoot application performance on Kubernetes.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Kubernetes (at least 2-3 years) and containerization technologies (Docker, containerd).
Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including nodes, pods, deployments, services, and namespaces.
Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes charts and deployments.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration in cloud environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and their integration with Kubernetes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Experience with container monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and ingress/egress controllers in Kubernetes.
Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) for infrastructure management.
Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud and containerized environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Kubernetes certification (CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).
Knowledge of Kubernetes RBAC and security policies.
Familiarity with Helm charts and custom Kubernetes resources.
Experience with container runtime engines (Docker, containerd, CRI-O).
Exposure to serverless technologies and microservices architectures.
