Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer with a strong background in backend coding and database management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, particularly in the context of financial applications, and will play a key role in system integration and mentorship within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Coding Write clean, efficient Java code for data processing and system integration.
• Database Management Design Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuning scripts.
• System Integration Build and support interfaces linking Loan IQ with external downstream systems.
• Mentorship & Leadership Act as a technical reference point for junior developers on the team.
• Code Review Review code to ensure compliance with standards and optimal performance.

Mandatory Skills

• Java Proficient in Core Java, Spring Boot, and multi-threading environments (8-10 years).
• Loan IQ 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the Loan IQ data model and APIs (Good to have).
• Database Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills, including query optimization (Must have).
• Tools Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD deployment pipelines (Must have).
• Communication Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Must have).
• Problem Solving Strong debugging skills across multi-tier financial applications (Must have).

Preferred Skills

• Domain Knowledge Solid understanding of commercial lending, syndication, and loan servicing (Good to have).

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
