Job Description:

• Platform Development: Design and build high-scale, resilient, and mission-critical observability solutions (Tracing, Logs, Metrics) using Java and Python.
• System Design: Write clean, testable, and highly optimized code while upholding strict engineering standards.
• Integration: Integrate with cloud-native, AI-driven AIOps architectures (such as Intuit's Numa project) for predictive alerting and automated root cause analysis.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Actively participate in operational health, ensuring high availability and performance SLA targets are consistently met across Tier 1/2 systems.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX, and fellow engineers, to translate enterprise needs into actionable tech specs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Languages: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in Java and Python.
• Observability Domain: Experience building or utilizing monitoring tools (APM, distributed tracing frameworks, structured logging).
• Cloud & Distributed Systems: Familiarity with cloud-native ecosystems, microservices architectures, and distributed scaling.
• Data Pipelines: Ability to analyze, process, and extract insights from large telemetry and diagnostic datasets.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
