Java Production support
The L1 Technical Support Specialist serves as the primary technical interface for the developer community
within the Google Ad Manager (GAM) ecosystem. You will diagnose integration hurdles, debug API requests,
and ensure that mobile and web applications are correctly implemented Google’s advertising frameworks
(GMA/IMA). This role is the critical link between general product support and core engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
● 3–5 years in technical product support, developer relations, or software development.
● Strong coding experience in Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Objective-C.
● Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
● Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and SQL for data querying.
Required Skills
● Core JAVA, REST API, Debugging/Troubleshooting skills, Basic database knowledge, SQL, HTML & CSS
and other front-end technologies. Javascript / XML, In-depth understanding of web-tech engineering,
HTTP stack ((headers, response codes, methods), troubleshooting experience via web proxy tools
(Charles) and debugger tools
● Reproduce & identify root cause for 3rd party properties (web & apps) without access to their server
or codebase (using tools like debugger, HAR etc.)
● Excellent written communication skills
Preferred Skills
● Product Application: Ability to understand and debug intricate ad-serving configurations, SDK
integrations, and API workflows.
● Technical Proficiency: Expertise in mobile development (iOS/Android), debugging tools (Android
Studio etc.), and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript).
● Analytical Skills: Skilled in log analysis, crash reports, and performance profiling; ability to interpret
large datasets and identify root causes.
● Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical solutions clearly to developers and non-
technical stakeholders.
● Experience with Ads APIs, SDK integration, and troubleshooting ad rendering issues.
● Familiarity with network debugging tools (Charles Proxy, Wireshark) and browser dev tools.
● Knowledge of SQL or data querying for reporting discrepancies.
