Java Architect

Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead to drive enterprise-scale modernization initiatives involving Core Banking transformation. The candidate will lead development teams responsible for building cloud-native applications, integrating legacy mainframe systems with modern microservices, and delivering highly scalable, event-driven solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design and development of enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
Design event-driven architectures using Kafka.
Develop responsive UI using ReactJS or Angular.
Integrate cloud-native applications with legacy Mainframe and DB2 systems.
Lead GCP adoption including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Storage, IAM and Monitoring.
Define API standards using REST/OpenAPI.
Guide architecture decisions for scalability, resiliency and security.
Collaborate with Data Engineering and Mainframe teams during migration.
Lead code reviews, performance tuning and production support.
Mentor engineering teams and enforce engineering best practices.
