Java API with InsureMo Lead

Own offshore delivery of AWAC Pricing APIs and integration services. Translate architecture into high-quality implementations, lead developers, and ensure reliable releases of rating features, factor catalogs, and adapters. Maintain alignment with onshore architect while driving code quality, test coverage, and performance.
Responsibilities:

Lead development of rating microservices, API contracts, InsureMO adapters; implement caching for rate tables.
Build configuration-driven modules for rating matrices, surcharges, jurisdictional rules; externalize rules for agility.
Optimize performance (async I/O, pooling, batching) and resiliency (circuit breakers, retries).
Establish CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, static analysis; enforce test pyramids.
Collaborate on UAT data seeding; instrument services for observability.
Coordinate with QA and BA/Scrum Master for story refinement and sprint delivery.

Core Skills: Java (Spring Boot), API development, microservices, integration patterns, offshore leadership, performance optimization.
Plus: AWS services, DevOps toolchain, P&C insurance/rating, Excel Rating tool integration, secure coding practices.
