IT Infrastructure Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain Windows servers including installation configuration and troubleshooting
Oversee Active Directory services including user and group management GPO implementation and security best practices
Develop and maintain PowerShell or other scripting solutions for automation and system management tasks
Experience with VMWare and VDI Horizon for virtualization and desktop infrastructure management
Familiarity with AWS GCC Government Cloud for cloud infrastructure management and security compliance
Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation
Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and resolve technical issues
Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience as a Windows Administrator or similar role
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory services
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell VBScript or batch scripting
Experience with VMWare and VDI Horizon for virtualization and desktop infrastructure management
Familiarity with AWS for cloud infrastructure management and security compliance
Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Relevant certifications such as MCSE MCSA or CompTIA Server+
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
