The Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) will leverage their deep knowledge of the insurance industry to provide expertise and guidance on various aspects of insurance offerings, services, and operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing insurance trends, and offering strategic insights to support decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Industry Expertise:
o Deep understanding of Insurance industry including L&A, Group business.
o Provide expert knowledge on insurance products, policies, and regulations.
o Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies affecting the insurance sector.
- Understanding on technologies like Gen AI, RPA, EA, Process and business rationalization etc.
- Utilize very strong written and spoken English language communication skills to facilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis to inform business decisions and strategies.
- Leverage at least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant to provide expert insights and guidance.
- Demonstrate knowledge of programmatic capabilities to drive project success.
- Manage client stakeholder relationships, setting clear expectations and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Write detailed Epics and User Stories, collaborating closely with teams in an agile project environment.
- Conduct effective customer product demonstrations, showcasing features and benefits to clients.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and User Manuals.
- Preferably possess experience in implementations within the healthcare insurance or life sciences domain.
Qualifications:
- Education: bachelor’s degree in insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on [specific areas such as underwriting, claims, and other insurance business modules].
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of insurance services, policies, and industry regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional team.
