HR Assistant
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performing administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases and sorting emails for the HR department 5 days a week onsite.
- Administrative support for new hire onboarding
- Assisting the HR Manager in policy formulation
- Onboarding/Offboarding Coordination (coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees, exit interviews)
- Administrative coordinator of key HR documentations and signatures
- Ensuring compliance of all HR-related documentation with employment and labor laws
- Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, company social events
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Handle confidential & non-routine information with ease and discretion.
- Assist in the preparation of data presentation related to HR metrics and performance data
- May perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated Able to work independently or part of a team; prior experience collaborating with international team members desirable.
