Job Summary:
As a Data Analyst within the IT Services industry, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data to help drive decision-making processes. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to understand business needs, build reports, and provide insights that can improve IT service delivery, performance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Integration: Collect and consolidate data from various internal and external systems, ensuring the data is clean, accurate, and properly formatted.
- Data Analysis: Perform statistical analysis and create predictive models to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that support business strategies.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports that communicate insights to key stakeholders. Customize reports based on internal requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and clients to understand data requirements, service-level agreements (SLAs), and business objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements using data-driven insights, which can help optimize IT operations, service delivery, and client support functions.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by monitoring and conducting regular data audits.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze Pipeline, identify issues, performance metrics, and KPIs to identify root causes and suggest solutions.
- Tool Development & Automation: Build and maintain data tools (e.g., dashboards, automated reporting systems) to streamline data access and improve efficiency in reporting processes.
- Presentation & Communication: Present data insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, ensuring the implications are understood and actionable.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and tools relevant to data analysis in IT services.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the IT services or technology sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce CRM
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data manipulation and analysis.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues using data and deliver meaningful solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience with managing multiple projects and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
